"অভাবে নয় মেধার বিলুপ্তি"

2019 সালে মাধ্যমিক পরীক্ষার পর আমাদের স্কলারশিপ বেনিফিশিয়ারি হিসেবে নির্বাচিত হয় বনমালীচট্টা হাই স্কুলের ছাত্র কার্তিক সামন্ত, বাবা সেই সময় বাজারে ঝালমুড়ি বিক্রি করতেন। আমাদের কাছে মাধ্যমিকের ফলাফলের পর আবেদন জানায়। ফেয়ার ফিল্ড এক্সেলেন্স স্কলারশিপ পরীক্ষা পদ্ধতিতে উত্তীর্ণ হয় কার্তিক। ফেয়ার ফিল্ড এক্সেলেন্স পরিবার সেই থেকে ওর পাশে রয়েছে। উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক উত্তীর্ণ হওয়ার পর সেন্ট জেভিয়ার্স কলেজে রসায়ন নিয়ে স্নাতক স্তরে ভর্তি হয়। 2024 সর্বভারতীয় JAM পরীক্ষার ফলাফল প্রকাশিত হল। কার্তিকের মেধা তালিকায় স্থান 35। 

After the 2019 Madhyamik (Secondary) examinations, Kartik Samanta, a student of Banamalichatta High School, was selected as our scholarship beneficiary. At that time, his father used to sell jhalmuri (spiced puffed rice) in the market. Kartik applied to us after his Madhyamik results were announced. He then cleared the Fairfield Excellence Scholarship examination process. Since then, the Fairfield Excellence family has stood firmly by his side. After passing his Higher Secondary exams, he enrolled at St. Xavier's College to pursue an undergraduate degree in Chemistry. The results of the 2024 All-India JAM (Joint Admission test for Masters) examination have been announced. Kartik has secured the 35th rank on the merit list.

বাবা দিনমজুর, মা ও কৃষি শ্রমিক ,একমাত্র দাদা দুরারোগ্য জটিল রোগে আক্রান্ত,সংসারে চরম অভাব কিন্ত অদম্য জেদ ও ইচ্ছা শক্তিকে সম্বল করে  কাঁথি দেশপ্রান ব্লকের বাসিন্দা গৌতম বেরা 2020 সালে 483 নম্বর পেয়ে বিবেকানন্দ আদর্শ শিক্ষা নিকেতন থেকে উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক পরীক্ষায় উত্তীর্ণ হয়। ভালো রেজাল্ট সত্ত্বেও অর্থাভাবে পরিবারের সবাই কিন্তু গৌতমের আদৌ পড়া চালিয়ে যাওয়া সম্ভব কিনা সেই নিয়ে ভেবে কুলকিনারা পাচ্ছিলেন না। ঠিক সেই সময় ফেয়ার ফিল্ড এক্সেলেন্স পরিবারের দুজন সদস্য  গৌতমের বাড়িতে পৌঁছান এবং পরিবারকে আশ্বস্ত করেন ছেলের পরবর্তী পড়াশুনা চালানোর দায়ভার ফেয়ার ফিল্ড এক্সলেন্সর। গৌতমের জন্য কাঁথি এবং বিভিন্ন রামকৃষ্ণ মিশনের কলেজের ফর্ম ফিলাপ করে দেওয়া হয় ll গৌতম নিজ যোগ্যতায়  রামকৃষ্ণ মিশন বিবেকানন্দ সেন্টিনারি কলেজে গনিত নিয়ে স্নাতক স্তরে ভর্তি হওয়ার সুযোগ পায় ll  ভর্তি প্রক্রিয়ায় সমূহ খরচ গৌতমের হাতে তুলে দিয়ে পাশে দাঁড়ায় ফেয়ার ফিল্ড এক্সেলেন্স পরিবার। এর পরের সমস্যা ছিল গৌতমের থাকা এবং খাওয়ার ব্যবস্থা করা ll ফেয়ার ফিল্ড এক্সেলেন্স পরিবারের পক্ষ থেকে যোগাযোগ করা হয় বেলঘরিয়ার  - " বিবেক উদয় স্টুডেন্টস ওয়েলফেয়ার সোসাইটির  " সঙ্গে, যেটি আবার রহড়া কলেজেরই প্রাক্তনীদের সংগঠন ll ওরা পাশে দাঁড়ানোর প্রতিশ্রুতি দেন, ফলে গৌতমের বিনামূল্যে থাকা ও খাওয়ার ব্যবস্থা হয়ে যায়।l  চলতে থাকে দাঁতে দাঁত চেপে স্বপ্নকে সত্যি করার লড়াই ll  প্রতিটি সেমিস্টারেই গৌতম ধারাবাহিকভাবে আশানারূপ ফল করতে থাকে  ll বিবেক উদয়ের প্রাক্তনী দাদাদের পাশাপাশি ফেয়ার ফিল্ড এক্সেলেন্স পরিবারের পক্ষ থেকে মেন্টর হিসেবে গৌতমের দায়িত্ব নিলেন IIT দিল্লীর অ্যাসিস্ট্যান্ট প্রফেসর শ্রী অনন্ত মাজী মহাশয়।l  বর্তমানে গৌতম তৃতীয় বর্ষের শেষ সেমিস্টারের ছাত্র।l গত 21 শে মার্চ সর্বভারতীয় JAM  পরীক্ষার ফলাফল প্রকাশিত হয়েছে  ll এই পরীক্ষায় উল্লেখযোগ্য কৃতিত্ব দেখিয়েছে গৌতম  ll তার সর্বভারতীয়  RANK 283। এভাবেই আগামী দিনে গনিত নিয়ে উচ্চশিক্ষার্থে সর্বভারতীয় প্রথম সারির চারটি  আই আই টির মধ্যে একটিতে ভর্তি হওয়া সুনিশ্চিত করেছে  ll ফেয়ার ফিল্ড এক্সেলেন্স পরিবার গৌতম এর উজ্জ্বল ভবিষ্যৎ কামনা করে।l অদূর ভবিষ্যতে উচ্চমানের শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানে ভর্তি সহ অন্যান্য অনেক খরচ  ll ফেয়ার ফিল্ড এক্সেলেন্স পরিবারের শুভানুধ্যায়ীদের কাছে আন্তরিক আবেদন গৌতম কে তার কাঙ্খিত লক্ষ্যে পৌঁছে দিতে বরাবরের মতো আপনারা আপনাদের সহানুভূতির হাত বাড়িয়ে দিন ll  আমরা আশাবাদী ll

His father is a daily wage laborer, his mother is an agricultural worker, and his only elder brother suffers from an incurable, complex illness. Despite facing extreme poverty within the household, Goutam Bera, a resident of Contai Deshapran Block, passed his Higher Secondary examinations from Vivekananda Adarsha Shiksha Niketan in 2020, scoring an impressive 483 marks by relying entirely on his indomitable determination and willpower. Despite his excellent results, the entire family was deeply distressed by their severe financial crisis, unable to figure out how it would even be possible for Goutam to continue his education. Right at that critical moment, two members of the Fair field Excellence family arrived at Goutam's house. They reassured the family, promising that Fairfield Excellence would take full responsibility for the boy's future education. On behalf of the foundation, admission forms were filled out for colleges in Contai as well as various Ramakrishna Missions. Through his own merit, Goutam earned the opportunity to enroll in the undergraduate Mathematics program at Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Centenary College. The Fairfield Excellence family stood firmly by his side by handing over the entire cost of the admission process to Goutam. The next challenge was arranging Goutam's food and lodging. On behalf of the Fairfield Excellence family, contact was made with the "Vivek Uday Students' Welfare Society" in Belgharia, which is an alumni association of Rahara College itself. They promised their support, which successfully arranged free food and lodging for Goutam. Thus began his fierce grit and struggle to turn his dreams into reality. In every single semester, Goutam consistently achieved excellent, promising results. Alongside the supportive alumni brothers of Vivek Uday, Shri Ananta Maji, an Assistant Professor at IIT Delhi, took up the vital responsibility of acting as Goutam’s mentor on behalf of the Fairfield Excellence family. Goutam is currently a final-semester student in his third year. On March 21st, the results of the All-India JAM examination were published. Goutam demonstrated remarkable achievement in this exam, securing an All-India Rank of 283. With this feat, he has guaranteed his admission into one of the top four premier IITs in the country for higher studies in Mathematics. The Fairfield Excellence family celebrates his brilliant success and wishes Goutam a bright future ahead.
