Ankan Das, a student of Bodhra Pantheswari High School, applied to us after passing the 2019 Madhyamik (Secondary) examinations. His father earns a modest income by tutoring local young children. After clearing the Fairfield Excellence examination, Ankan was selected as a scholarship recipient. Upon passing his Higher Secondary exams, Ankan earned the opportunity to enroll in the undergraduate Chemistry program at Ramakrishna Mission Residential College, Narendrapur. When the Fairfield Excellence family reached out to the then-Principal, the revered Sanjib Maharaj, with a request, the college authorities generously provided a waiver on the admission fees and also arranged for a concession on the monthly fees. In the results of the 2024 All-India JAM examination, Ankan has secured the 41st rank on the merit list.

"অভাবে নয় মেধার বিলুপ্তি"

অঙ্কন দাস বোধড়া পন্থেশ্বরী হাই স্কুলের ছাত্র 2019 সালে মাধ্যমিক পরীক্ষা‌য় উত্তীর্ণ হওয়ার পর আমাদের কাছে আবেদন জানায়। বাবা স্থানীয় ছোট বাচ্চাদের টিউশন পড়িয়ে সামান্য আয় করেন। ফেয়ার ফিল্ড এক্সেলেন্স এর পরীক্ষায় উত্তীর্ণ হয়ে স্কলারশিপ প্রাপক হিসেবে নির্বাচিত হয়। উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক উত্তীর্ণ হওয়ার পর রামকৃষ্ণ মিশন রেসিডেনসিয়াল কলেজ, নরেন্দ্রপুরে রসায়ন বিষয়ে স্নাতক স্তরে ভর্তি হওয়ার সুযোগ পায় অঙ্কন। তৎকালীন অধ্যক্ষ শ্রদ্ধেয় সঞ্জীব মহারাজ এর কাছে ফেয়ার ফিল্ড এক্সেলেন্স পরিবারের পক্ষ থেকে আবেদন জানালে কলেজের পক্ষ থেকে ভর্তি ফিতে ছাড়ের পাশাপাশি মাসিক যে টাকা দিতে হয় সেখানে ও ছাড়ের ব্যবস্থা করে দেন।2024 সর্বভারতীয় JAM পরীক্ষার ফলাফলে অঙ্কনের মেধা তালিকায় স্থান 41  ।
