Her father is a humble ice cream vendor. On market days in Safiabad, her parents run a small evening-snack (chop) stall together. The family consists of four membersโher father, her mother, her younger brother who is in the ninth grade, and Supriya herself. A tiny mud house was once their only shelter. Recently, the family received a house under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. However, the house is still incomplete; the doors and windows have not been installed yet, and the walls are unplastered. Nevertheless, that incomplete structure is their hard-earned refuge today.
Growing up amidst this intense struggle is a girl named Supriya Jana. Since 2024, she has been a scholarship beneficiary of our Fair Field Excellence family. This year, she appeared for her Higher Secondary exams in the Pure Science stream from Safiabad Shital Prasad Vidyamandir. And the result? By scoring 463 out of 500, she didn't just achieve successโshe secured the first rank in the Science stream at her school.
She is a girl from a remote village with no access to high-end tuition. She studied all her subjects at a single coaching center, with separate tutoring only for English. Added to that was some modest guidance from our mentors. However, her greatest strengths were her sheer determination, perseverance, and the courage to dream. Poverty could not stop her; instead, it made her stronger.
Today's success is not just a good report card; it is a silent victory over poverty and an inspiring story of fighting onward by holding onto one's dreams.
Supriyaโs dream for the future is to pursue research in Physics. We firmly believe that this girl will go a long way in life. The Fair Field Excellence family wishes that all her dreams come true and that her life is filled with light.
